Submissions are now invited for the 2026 Global Anglican Essay Prize, awarded by Church Society in conjunction with The Global Anglican theological journal.

This year we are looking for articles to publish in a themed issue of the journal marking 100 years since the invention of the television. These should reflect on TV or its influence with respect to any of the theological disciplines (biblical studies, ethics, systematics, pastoral etc.)
The prize is designed to encourage new evangelical authors from the worldwide Anglican communion. The winner will receive £250 from Church Society, £100 worth of books from IVP, a year’s digital subscription to The Global Anglican, and have their entry published in the journal. Essays should be 5-7,000 words in length, including footnotes, and must be in accordance with the aims of The Global Anglican.
Submissions are due by 1 October 2026 and should be sent to the Church Society office in doc or pdf format together with a completed entry form.
