Church Society is a fellowship contending to reform and renew the Church of England in biblical faith. We are an evangelical Anglican charity established to promote and uphold the biblical foundations of the Church of England as expressed in the Church’s formularies. We seek to uphold these evangelical foundations through partnerships, publishing, prayer and patronage, as our Director, Lee Gatiss, explains in this short video. You can find out more about our work here.

Join Church Society

We think it is vital for faithful Anglicans to work together, to support each other, to pray for each other and the church, to learn from each other, and be in fellowship. Our members are encouraged to do all these things, through our regular conferences, through our daily prayer diary and active Facebook prayer group, through our various publications. Lay people, as well as clergy, are valued members of Church Society, and we work hard to equip all God's people to be able to live God's word.

Our work depends on our members, who support us in many ways: serving on committees, writing for our publications, praying faithfully for the parishes we represent, and giving through their membership fees and further donations. We would love you to join us! You'll find information about how you can do that here.

Supporter Churches

In the current climate in the Church of England, we think it is increasingly important for churches to be able to clearly identify themselves as faithful to the Bible, faithful to historical Anglicanism, and faithful on the most pressing issues of the day, including matters of gender and sexuality. Identifying as supporters of Church Society is an easy way for churches to make that public commitment. Find out how your church can become a Church Society Supporter here.
