Word on Wednesday: Lee Gatiss on JC Ryle
Lee Gatiss, Director of Church Society, gave a great talk at this year’s Church Society Conference. The conference itself was called “Be Faithful: Remaining Steadfast in the Church of England Today”, and Lee's talk was on JC Ryle, who was a faithful Anglican bishop in the nineteenth century. It was Bishop Ryle's 200th birthday this year!
So grab a cuppa and a scone for an inspiring hour on what we can learn from the good bishop for our own tumultuous days.
