In this new mini-series on the Church Society podcast, we are looking at a number of the ancient heresies of the church and their contemporary forms to be aware of. Sadly it is all too common to find well-meaning, thoughtful members of the church - even clergy and bishops - making basic doctrinal errors of this kind. In these podcasts we will consider both the true doctrine and why it matters, as well as thinking about some of the ways we might fall into wrong thinking. This first episode considers the doctrine of revelation: how does God reveal himself?
