In these pages the term is used in is common sense and refers to pregnancies artificially terminated and resulting in the death of an embryo or fetus.
Whilst the word ‘abortion’ does not feature in the Bible it is very clear that God is the creator who gives life, cares for an protects it. Therefore every life is precious in God’s sight.
Christians, taking their lead from the Bible, have always been strongly pro-life and have generally opposed abortion.
