Roman Catholic teaching about the Virgin Mary

This section will examine the history and consequences of false teaching regarding the Virgin Mary mainly invented and propagated by the Roman Catholic Church. It teaches that Mary was immaculately conceived, was without sin, a perpetual virgin, assumed bodily into heaven and once in heaven performs mediatory and redemptive roles. The first link below will give an outline to the development and teaching of these errors and show from Scripture why they are wrong, the second link below will give an exposition of what the Bible has to say about the life of Mary and the place of Mary in the saving purposes of God.
