9 January 2007 - the group charged with drafting a Covenant for the Anglican Communion has been appointed by the Anglican Primates. The Windsor Report proposed the establishing of a Covenant which Provinces of the Communion would be expected to endorse as a condition of being considered part of the Anglican Communion. The Design Group has been charged with taking forward the Windsor proposals.
