St Andrew s Kingham (Church Society files )
Documents:Kingham 1) Copy of the Will of Anne Foley, 9/7/1802. 2) Deed of Arrangement among the four sons of the late Mrs Alicia Lockwood with reference to the advowson of the Rectory of Kingham, 23/2/1886. 3) Conveyance of the advowson of Kingham. Charles Young to the Church Association Trust, for 200, 8/12/1924. The vendor as owner doth hereby assign grant and confirm unto the purchasers all that the said advowson and perpetual right of presentation of and to the said Rectory and Parish Church of Kingham and all rights and appurtenances thereto belonging to hold the same unto and to the use of the purchasers their successors and assigns. 4) Conveyance. Rt Hon Hermon Fleming Baron Wyfold of Accrington of the one part and the Church Society Trust of the other part, 5/8/1982. The donor hereby conveys unto the donee (C. S. Trust) all that advowson and joint right of presentation of and to the benefice of Kingham with Churchill Daylesford and Sarsden to hold the same unto the donee in fee simple to the intent that the donee shall henceforth have the sole right of presentation to the said benefice. Daylesford 1) Conveyance of the advowson of Daylesford. Charles Young to Church Association Trust for 100, 8/12/1924. The vendor doth hereby assign grant and confirm unto the purchasers all that the said advowson and perpetual right of presentation of and to the said Rectory and Parish Church of Daylesford and all rights and appurtenances thereto belonging to hold the same unto and to the use of the purchasers their successors and assigns
Parsonage:The rectory in 'The Moat' was sold and the new Vicarage at 6 The Grange, Kingham was purchased in replacement by the Diocese (an extension for a study was added by the Diocese) The Daylesford Rectory was sold about 1970.
